Another letter – this one is from an American soldier who has been awarded two Purple Hearts, two Silver Stars and a Bronze Star with a “V” for valor as he prepared for battle in Germany on March 11, 1945. It is heart warming and tear forming to read about values that were fundamental to Americans 75 years ago. And note that it was (and IS) OK to acknowledge our God as an integral part of our values and our lives.
